Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Clerk/Equipment Rental Clerk to join our team at our store in Alma.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their purchases.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and have a passion for sales.
Applicant must have strong people skills.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products - Answer customer inquiries and provide product information - Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately - Sell both building materials and hardware.
- Renting out equipment to customers.
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes - Basic hardware and building materials knowledge is preferred but not required Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Ability to provide exceptional customer service - Proficient in using a cash register and handling cash transactions - Knowledge of phone etiquette when interacting with customers Job Type:
